A Day in Doha

Advertisements

I am so pleasantly surprised by Doha, you guys! I didn’t know what to expect, but after just a few short hours in this modern city I was throughly impressed. Doha reminds me of a smaller, more quaint Dubai. It’s still got all the glitz and glam with the monstrous skyscrapers, exotic beaches, and world-class fine dining. Sitting on the Persian Gulf, the combination of the sea and city views are amazing!

I arrived very late on Thursday night to the Four Seasons Hotel, and spent my Friday morning by catching up on some much-needed z’s. I started my day with a late brunch of rock shrimp and black cod at Nobu, which is one of the restaurants at the hotel. Could it get any better?

After brunch, I took a stroll around the resort to check out the beach, pool, and spa. My favorite part of this hotel has to be its Persian style architecture. All the dramatic columns, high vaulted dome ceilings, and flooding light is just mesmerizing.

P.S. I’m thinking about checking out this famous mall here called the Villaggio. Let me know if  you have any suggestions of what I must see before I leave! xx
