Merry Christmas everyone! Oh wait, it’s July. Sorry, I must have gotten my holidays mixed up, thanks to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s kind of a big deal, so keep reading to find out exactly why this is the biggest and best sale of the year.
Ok, all jokes and riddles aside now, lets get down to business! Every year, Nordstrom has their biggest sale, as their new fall collection is released. All the top, luxury designers brand new collections are featured at nearly 50% off! So basically you can steal a pair of Louboutins for half off. New, from this season, in your size, now!
So now that you know exactly what this sale is about, how are you supposed to shop it? This sale takes place from July 13th through August 6th, but only Nordstrom cardholders can shop the sale from the 13-20th. If you are a Nordstrom cardholder, you get an early access for one week to the sale, before everyone else. Having a Nordstrom’s card is like having a credit card specifically to be used at you favorite department store, except you get discount codes, bonuses, and rewards too. So when can you shop the sale if you don’t have a card? It’s totally okay if you can’t get a card in time for the sale because access to the public is open from July 21-August 6. So the best deals might be out in your size, but trust me, there is plenty to choose from!
So what should I look to buy at the sale? Even though it’s the new fall collection and you will be tempted to buy the trendiest designer pieces… think again. If you want a luxury designer piece, don’t buy the trend that will go out of style after summer. Instead, look for classic pieces that you can continue to wear, that never goes out of style. Now of course if you have saved up that green, this is the time to get your money’s worth. So don’t forget to treat yourself to the latest craze of metallic prints and off the shoulder tops.
