A hot, summer day in LA calls for one of my favorite closet staples: a cute crop top! This one from Planet Blue, is one I have been obsessing over lately. I am crazy about the off the shoulder and lace up details, while the ruffles and sandy tones give it that glamorous boho vibe. Oh, and the fact that it is soooo comfy is always a nice bonus. One of the ways I usually style these type of tops is with a pair of ripped, denim cutoffs, but since I was headed into town for the day, I thought I would dress it up a bit. To take this look from the beach to the city, I wore a pair of dressy white shorts. I also added a few accessories, like this brown belt with layered gold accents, LV messenger bag, and brown ankle boots. I captured my Cali beach girl style by wearing this straw sun hat.
Before I go, I wanted to talk about one of my favorite places to shop in LA, Planet Blue. Having the trendiest boutique locations all over the LA area, (and across the US) whenever I have somewhere to go and want to look extra cool, chic, or dolled up, the Planet Blue in Malibu is always my first stop.
