If you have been following along with me for a while now, you definitely know how deep my love is for a… black romper (and my dog, but lets not get started on that topic because we will be here for waaayyyyy to long)! Seriously, you walk into my closet and there is a whole section of not just black, not just rompers, but black rompers. I know, I take wardrobe staple to a whole new level. I’d like to believe that my obsession can be looked at positively in some ways, I mean at least I have done thorough research for this review!
I have always wanted to try out this popular online shopping destination- Rosegal– but am always antsy to buy from a brand I never have ordered from before. When the team at Rosegal reached out to me, I thought this would be a great opportunity to give this brand a try! Since I was unfamiliar with their sizing and fit, I played it safe with a black romper. (I know, I know, way to change it up KT!!!;)
What initially stood out to me about this romper, were the stud embellishments on the shoulders and the lace up feature on the back. I just thought these details were such a stylish touch.
Upon receiving the package from Rosegal, I was happy to see that the romper was in perfect condition, and that the quality of the fabric was more structured, not too thin or flimsy. The stud and lace up details really separate this romper from the rest, as it adds some style, but doesn’t take over my entire outfit. I think this type of romper is so versatile. For example, say you are having a night out with friends or a dinner and are completely stumped on what to wear. Yes, this is when that very annoying voice sneaks in your thoughts and exclaims “YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!!!!” Well, after experiencing these situations many times (like when I decide to start getting ready when I really should’ve been leaving) I have learned that a black romper like this one is the real MVP.
All of that being said, I totally recommend this romper from Rosegal. Just a tip if it’s your first time on their site as well, that if you are in between sizes or unsure, go smaller, as this romper runs on the larger side.
Ok, now that we’ve gone over all of that- HOW CUTE IS MY DOG? Sorry, just had to point out my cutest accessory!
